CAMELIA, FLOWER OF GALICIA
This initiative was born out of the collaboration between Turgalicia and the Spanish Camellia Society, with the aim of promoting the culture related to the cultivation, care and promotion of the Camellia, this beautiful flower that lives in our gardens each winter, giving them colour, light and life.

A route of gardens related to the culture of the Camelia has been created. It has great touristic, historical and artistic interest. Visiting them you will get to know unforgetable places, authentic botanic gardens, made with effort and dedication, where you can spend time in contact with nature and the spectacles it offers us.

A modern image was developed to dress this proyect up, unifying all its parts giving them identity, not also in Galicia, but in the rest of Spain and worldwise. A nowadays flower was created to gather new audience for the camelia, increasing the number of persons concerned about the plant.
